To diagnose this type of problem we need to have a specific example to look at. We need to know two things:
  1. The address of a page that is not in the index, and
  2. How a visitor to your site gets to that page from your home page without using search
Note that both pieces of information are required in order to determine the problem. (You can see a list of the documents included in the index by using the "view log list" option on the "reports" page to view the most recent indexing log. The list is at the very end of the log.)
